On the road

• South West Colorado was very charming. Windy roads and cute villages, very green
• Drove by Los Alamos where the atomic bomb was invented.
• The small part of New Mexico / Santa Fe we saw and stayed over night after 8h driving was not nice at all.
• Western Texas is extremely flat and hot. Literally drove hours and hours straight without the scenery really changing. Basically farm land with windmills & fracking all the way.
• We absolutely LOVED Austin. Unfortunately only had time for 1 overnight stay but from that short impression the nicest american city we‘ve seen. Would have loved to stay longer
• We stayed one night in Fredericksburg which is a cute city with German influence.
